Drills return to Superjack

(Jul 10, 2017)

Callinex Mines (TSXV: CNX) will test for deeper extensions to zinc mineralisation at the Superjack A Zone, and probe a large gravity inversion anomaly at the New Brunswick property, in new drilling about to start as part of its 10,000m Bathurst district campaign. The company says results from 4,622m of drilling completed at Nash Creek are also on the way into the public domain.

Callinex said this week drill rigs had been mobilised to Superjack, where previous drilling intersected 10.3m of 8.2% zinc-equivalent, including 6.6m of 10.5% Zn-eq, at about 440m depth on the A Zone. The company wants to test down-dip there.

It also wants to drill test a 1,300m-by-800m gravity anomaly that it says indicates the A, B and C Zones at Superjack might connect at depth.

At least six holes for 3,250m are to be drilled in the current program.
